After discovering the colour pallet, I bought a 30 dollar 17 key electric Kalimba on Amazon.. I play it through my reverb/delay and phaser pedals. Not as good as this thing but man, it is fun.

Ok, i got a Kalimba and managed to put a mic on it and use it with a vintage delay and a processor but... This is 10,000 times cooler!!! WOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWW... SEEEN THIS IN LOOP! IT'S FANTASTIC I LOVE IT SO MUCH.... Added to my wishlist...

as with any audio circuitry that is powered there is always some noise, however the noise floor on this is very low. comparable to the amount of noise on a high quality guitar pedal. hope that helps :)

This may be a dumb question but is the Colour Pallete considered an instrument or a type of pedal? I'm pretty familiar with kalimbas but not so much with pedals. I didn't know if this had to be hooked up to an instrument or something or if it was an instrument on its own

I have a few questions since I'm a total noob with pedals, amplifiers, etc.. The only thing I got at home is a Marshall Kilburn II. And I wanted to ask if it's possible to use a speaker like this as an amp for the Color Palette - or do I need more to make this work? Sorry for the dumb question. I just really love this piece of art.

I have no idea why this randomly popped up in my suggested feed, but I am in love with this. As a guitar noodler with way too many pedals to justify, I can't imagine running them through this with it's already incredibly sonic landscape. With the U in colour and the price in pounds, I assume this is somewhere in the UK. Are these available for shipment to the US? Cheers and well done!

Good looking modern Kalimba but you cannot do glissando or slide effect on this one.

you can do glissando and slide! it plays the same as a normal kalimba except with extra effects added :)
