Hi Lucy. Just know this is an older video so you may not get this comment. But you can use riubbing alcohol to activate the pigment instead of water. Water can buckle the paper whereas rubbing alcohol will not yet you’ll achieve the same effect. Thanks for your videos sure enjoy them. Love and hugs.

Hi Lucy. I believe the new sets starting in May will have two new purples Orchid and Amethyst, not sure on the names but the extra white was just temporary. I bought a new set of prismas a couple of weeks ago and was lucky-my set had the old purples in it.

US folks are unable to “build a tin” yet. However, I am inspired to use my Inktense in this book. Are you aware of the Kerby-a-thon” going on? Shannon at Color and Crafting with Shannie Blue has put together 20 streamers starting April 10 for 2 weeks. She has the schedule listed on her You Tube.

The 150 sets at the moment come with a second white and a blender pencil. I managed to purchase four lavender and four lilac from Jackson’s here in Australia as the new purples in the prism as will be orchid and amethyst but they won’t be available until the end of March but that may be only in the USA just like the new inktense are only available through Derwent but not EU or USA. Hope this helps. Amethyst is already in the inktense blocks due to the 72 pencil set has a HB outliner pencil non solvable graphite. I am yet to see you use your gorgeous blocks that you were sent by a subscriber as I would love to see you using the inktense blocks. Much love & *virtual hugs* xxx

Thank you for your tutorial. I use inktense but struggle on larger areas of background. I will try reworking with Prismacolours to see if I can salvage my page. 🙏

Yes I find that too. I would mist likely use a different medium for larger areas like acrylic paint, watercolour or even chalks 💕

Those little cone shaped flowers are grape hyacinths. They tend to be a purplish blue.

This is gorgeous, I've just used NeoII on the background and activated with water and sad to say ruined the picture as it made the paper pill, I am now very disappointed with this book. I can't understand how you are managing to use your Inktense with water and it's working like magic. Tfs xo

Hi Elizabeth I think it's in the water flow. Too much and it will bleed through and to little you have to work the paper too much which can lead to Pilling. I hope that helps x

Lovely job Lucy, just wondering do you sharpen your Inktense over a pallet? Then you can remove the wood and make paint with the shavings. I really want these new colours I’m going to look later and hope they send them to Australia 😀😀
