Colour with me in Jiohanna Basford's 'Small Victories' Dragon 1

Colouring with Polychromos pencils I chose to do this dragon in non traditional colours and used opposite colours from the colour wheel. I love how it came out. I hope you do too. I will be back over the weekend to do Dragon 2 if you would like to see it done💖🤗

The effect of your color choices creates an imperial bronzey overlay jacket for this guy! I bet the metal look was a lovely surprise! It does not go unnoticed that you have a very kind and generous husband, Lucy. During this video your husband stepped in to bring you tea. Love your color choice for this dragon! Sorry you are still feeling unwell. Whenever I get mouth sores I use the supplement L-Lysine. Works wonders!

Lucy, I so enjoyed coloring along with you on Dragon 1. Yesterday I did the small castles. You color so beautifully, I’m envious because mine don’t look as amazing as yours do, but it’s certainly something for me to work on. In all the coloring I’ve done this past year I never knew colored pages could be so lovely until about 2 weeks ago when I first saw yours. So I ordered a couple of books and here I go, on a new goal in life. I’m 82. I live alone so I really enjoy listening to you while we color. Thank you for all your hard work teaching us the joy of coloring the right way.

Aagh! More medical advice! Be sure to keep your mouth extra clean, especially at bedtime. I have a painfully dry mouth because of an autoimmune illness, and I find that if I floss well, thoroughly brush teeth, gums, the whole oral cavity, and tongue, and follow with a salt water rinse, I can shave off most mouth and tongue sores. Also, I find that reducing processed carbohydrates makes a difference. Also, what fascinates me about coloring is watching a 2-D picture transform into 3-D through shading! It's magical! ❤

Hey hon. You should sign your name to each colouring. I do but I don’t put the copyright sign line I do on my original pieces of art. It’s nice that when someone looks at your work they know who did it.

Hope those pesky ulcers feel better soon, sending a hug.💗 Tried to colour along, however didn't have the colours you used tried to adapt made a mess of it, had to be rescued. Was upset with myself. Need to practice layers more. Live and learn. I put a colouring request in for a Christmas mouse page in the cutes book, around Christmas. Feel so embarrassed I shared a personal story too, it's bothered me since. Apologies.💕

This has been a lovely video. One thing i noticed is that you are outlining in a ink paint. And asking because i am having a lot of difficulty lining my coloring pages over prisma pencils a they are clogging my pens and sharpies. I am going to keep you on my radar. If you really want to put yourself through torture to get rid of ulcers quickly, we put Vegemite on mouth ulcers here in Australia. It absolutely works but hurts like hell. ❤❤❤

Hi Deborah Prismas are extremely soft wax pencils while polychromos are much harder layering pencils. I hope that helps xx
