This is a wonderful video! I love the colors. It looks like the Castle Arts pencil set has some beautiful colors. Your blending is beautiful! I have trouble at times because I’m more heavy handed. I’m working on it though! Thanks so much for your wonderful video!

Ive finally managed to watch the whole video. You did such a good job and i love the colours you did it. The shadowing on the hat is brilliant and makes it look real. Its absolutely fabulous 👌 ❤ I think it looks stunning as it is without a background.

Lucy, I didn't even get all the way through the video and I loved this illustration so much I bought the coloring book! It's got such wonderful little illustrations in it. I think you were very wise to start with the alcohol markers, and it makes a nice base. You're also wise for using less colors- you've created a nice color harmony, so everything in the picture feels like it belongs together. I love watching your videos and this was an excellent one!

@@laurzin4372 I find using a small amount of watercolor is a great base as well. Just make sure you don't use too much water, and wait until the page has completely dried. :)

Absolutely stunning and you did really well with those pencils,I think I have said before I don't get on with my ones at all, can't seem to get them to blend or stay sharpened without breaking. Loving the page you chose and hopefully your hands are a lot better. Tfs xo

Hello Lucy. Thank you for picking Spooky. I really enjoy coloring mine. I feel sorry for your hands. The hat was a large task and for the expensive Castle Arts, 😢 they are incredibly scratchy and seem almost as difficult as Crayola. Your hand got it's work out. I hate to say this because I've always really loved my uniball signo white, gold, and silver gel pens, but then I tried the sparkle pop gel pens and I think they look much better and have a similar feel as the signo ones. Especially the gold, it's much better than the signo gold! I definitely recommend the Sparkle Pop gel pens! Like I was saying, they write smooth and it's a similar feel to the Signo gel pens as far as how they write. There is no white in the Sparkle Pop gel pens (that I know of) but the gold and silver just have more of a sparkly shine to them than the Signo gold and silver, especially the gold. I tested the gold Signo and the gold Sparkle Pop side by side and there's quite a difference!
