I have this on right now. I am trying to get rid of tough black hair dye into brown/dark brown. The smell is NOT so unpleasant, or at least I’ve smelled much worse. However, it’s a heavy smell kind of blocks your lungs during the application. I’ll update after I take this off. Update: this product was dogshit. My hair is still black, only on some parts in which black was already faded it worked a bit. My hair is also dull, entangled and dry, also a lot of hair fell while washing it so I doubt it is damage-less. Waste of money on my part.

I LOVE this product so much ! It's the best and better then bleach. Not every Person likes bleaching their hair. For my curly hair it's really important to not bleaching it (because my hair will get damaged) so I love this so much. And yes it works to 100%

just thought I'd share a more recent review..: My hair has naturally a medium brown color and I had dark brown hair dye. I let it grow out for a few years and the dark brown almost all washed out but I could still see some of that dark hair dye on my ends.. So this is what that product did for me basically, it removed that dark brown from my ends ever so slightly.. My ends match my roots more and they don't look so dark anymore. It's very subtle

Currently trying to remove really old tough semi permanent red dye (Splat) from my hair. I’m blow drying it every few mins. Hope the colour finally comes off!! By the way, it doesn’t smell bad at all. I was prepared for eggy death LOL but no, not bad at all. I got the Extra formula in Germany. Update: only very little colour came off. Still pretty red.. my hair is extremely dry and stringy. Not recommended at all. If I knew it was gonna dry my hair out this badly, I’d just have bleached it or done a bleach bath.

On some packs they write that it doesn't work on semi permanent colour....I got the same problem...always thought semi permanent would go away easily- what a misconception

Been dying my hair for over 15 years, all colours and would often use colour B4 in between, but the new formula is trash and did nothing. Typically when my hair’s been blonde underneath it would take it to a light brown/ ginger, but this is exactly the same after 2 applications. Wouldn’t recommend anymore :)

I KNEW they’d changed the formula. What the hell is the powder? It never used to have a powder. You never used to have to use a hairdryer beforehand or wait all that time before using it. Ridiculous

Current hair is black/red. got it in the mail today, still 40mins to go. Just read all the comments and honestly i’m scared of the results (dried out hair/hair falling out…). UPDATE: IT WORKED!! i kept it in for 50minutes. yes, at first the hair was VERY dried out.. but with the help of a conditioner and a hair mask it went back to being almost silky like before. Of course i didn’t get my original hair color back, but it went from black/red to a beautiful brown with a shimmer of red which i really like. All in all, it did work but i wouldn’t really recommend it because of the way it dries out the hair and the horrendous smell. After drying the hair the smell still strongly lingers on the hair which sucks but it will go away after a few days.

Since your grey is lighter than brown it should help. I went from dark grey/toned black and took my almost back to light blonde.

Hmm, I'm gonna be honest I was expecting more for £10.00. I had split dye, half red half black/brown, underneath that, is my natural hair colour blonde. It removed the red well , slightly copper but it still partially came out. The otherwise however, its still black. There's barley any colour removed. It's disappointing. I dont recommend on dark hair colours. Perhaps if you have dyed your hair, and you want to change a week or 2 weeks later, but any longer than that, it won't come out. The smell really isn't worth it either, made my pillows stink like eggs.

You can still get it on eBay, the box is the original box too, not the grey box. I bought some , it works, the new stuff with the funnel and power didn't.The one with the three liquids works

Yep the old formulas work, most of the colour removers changed to powder and it's rubbish does nothing at all. Buy off eBay

Auparavant j'utilisais COLOUR B4 pour retirer ma coloration noir et le résultat était parfait pour obtenir un blond foncé. J'ai essayé la nouvelle formule et ça ne fonctionne pas. Je suis déçue. Je vais vite racheter des boîtes de l'ancienne formule avant qu'il n'y en ait plus.

So I tried to dyed my hair „brown“ but it turned really dark it looked like black, I was so sad and saw this product. I first bought the grey one, it didn‘t really worked well but it lightened my hair a little bit up, but my ends were still really dark. 2 days later I bought the blue one (the one in the video) and did it one hour ago. I have to say it‘s not the color I had before but it looks really good its dark brown, not to dark but better. But my hair stinks :(

I've used this before on red hair it took my hair to a mousy brown (extra strength) and waited 2 months to let my hair calm down then got blonde highlights

i’m after using this on my pink hair. i see a lot of people saying it doesn’t work so i’m nervous now update: do not use this. my hair was a mixture of light pink and a darker pink aswell as my natural roots. my hair after using this is now ginger,my natural roots,blonde and pink. my scalp is also very sore

I’m using the extra strength version on my hair that is dyed permanent black (Schwarzkopf Live XXL black), my natural hair colour is a level 8 and my ends under are bleach to a level 10-11. My current hair colour, is a level 2. I have used the dye 3-4 times over the past year. I have washed my hair with bicarbonate of soda and lemon juice before to get rid of buildup. Will update in a few hours how it turned out , wish me luck.. Update: the part that have never been bleached turned out amazing I’m almost back to my natural colour it is a bit brassy and I think it is one shade darker but I think purple shampoo will do the trick. BUT the part that have been bleached is so patchy there are levels between 3 to 10… so that is a problem I have to fix.. other that my hair doesn’t smell too bad, it feels really dry, but not damaged. Update 2: my bangs are really dark and brassy the rest of my hair looks great now but my bangs are getting darker. I did wash is out just as well. Maybe because of previous high heat use?

Nobody warned me about the smell…it’s so strong I couldn’t breathe..and it doesn’t work that well on dark brown or black hair! From dark brown now it’s a little lighter but not too much..Do something about the smell…it’s atrocious. Chemicals only…i don’t regret buying but my lungs do

@TheBoringStuff found my hair to be very dry after using it too. I’ve used colour b4 when it first came out and apart from the smell it worked an my hair felt fine after. But this stuff is a waste of money will never get back 🙄

well after following the instruction to a T and my hair being wet for aprox 1 and a half hours (including the rinsing and conditioning) my hair is EXACTLY THE SAME AS WHEN I STARTED and my hair had a light brown dye on it which had already faded. @@kizziastamp7111 no it didnt work at all sadly (yes dried out the hair like crazy too). I did the c-vitamine and schampoo-thing 4 times and alot of color came out :) then I bleached my hair once for 30 minutes and all of the purple came out. 😃

Ich kann es nicht empfehlen. Ich habe es nach Anleitung durchgeführt, es ist jedoch keine Farbe raus gegangen. Meine bescheidene Haarfarbe ist geblieben. Schade um das Geld😢. Es trocknet die Haare nur aus, wie Stroh waren sie, aber mit einer Spülung geht's. Schade.
