I’m getting a bit bored with people bringing in Moorcroft, to be honest.The old lawn mower was basically rusty old tat ( my grandmother had a similar one as I imagine thousands of folk did back then) but it was more interesting than endless Moorcroft!

@@wolfie854 if it was a letter written and signed by mandela,then your talking 800+ depending on the content..a signed programme? its a 3-400 pound item..and the buyer might have made 50 quid on it,on a good day..when he was alive he done a lot of book signings,signed stuff at after dinner galas etc he is surprisingly not rare,considering he was one of the most important men of the last century

Not sure why people are calling them greedy people. What's wrong with trying to get the most money possible for items you want to sell? They might make a wrong decision about going to auction but that's what this programme is all about.

Mandela magazine dealer offered him more than he wanted and way above the auction estimate then put a reserve 500 above estimate is pure greed and lost out when no one wanted it. Can't sell something for more than it's worth.
