Rita Berman's African book is absolutely gorgeous and your colored page in it is fabulous! You should do more pages in it. 🤗 I don't know how people manage to color more than 2/3 pages per month 😅. I dedicate all my free time (except when gardening) to this and I have never been able to color more than 2 a month. And seening your sellection of pages for the spring... WOW 👏

I also just colored the flowers from mein Frühlingsspaziergang but in the seasons book and I just made the flowers different colors so it's not so repetitive. You really picked beautiful pages😍

I enjoyed this chat and seeing all the pages you have in mind to color. I love being able to see books that are out there that are not in my collection. Here are my hopefuls not in any order: Anything from Frog's Tale or Moonlight mischief, Spirit Animal the dragonfly, Moon Valley the girl sitting in the flower, Fairy Miracles the hydrangea, Luna the black background, Flowerscape the window scene. I am now eyeballing some of those Korean books. I love the illustrations. The shipping charges are hard to swallow, so we will see. I also just purchased Ohuhu Honolulu 320 set, so I would love to see you use them in a color along. Thank you so much for sharing these books.

You picked out so many beautiful pages! Very hard to choose a favourite... I would love to see what you do with the Lulu Mayo book, especially that first page you showed. Rita Berman and Hanna Karlzon are always nice, I'm trying to do watercolour backgrounds in Magical Dawn at the moment. A page with alcohol markers would be interesting to see too, maybe in one of RJ Hampson's books. I've been looking at the Mythographic books for quite a while now, but I just can't choose, they are all so beautiful! So I'll probably be watching some more flip throughs 😅 Enjoy your colouring!

Great picks! I always enjoy your videos, Shel. As for drawing in scenes; I am what I call a “drawist”(my word), and have been a self-taught artist from the age of 4; and I looooooove to add in drawn elements (indeed, entire scenarios and characters of my own sometimes) into my coloring books. Especially in Johanna Basford, Hanna Karlzon, Deborah Muller, Kerby Rosanes and a few of my Japanese and Korean books. Fun! I feel that way the book is more “mine” in a sense(unique to me). Anyhoo: you ARE an artist too! Amazing coloring and a depth of style that inspires. Keep on colouring and I shall keep on viewing your stunning work in awe. 🙂

I love Rita Berman's books, but I'm also so intimidated to color them, because Rita has done some truly amazing colorings herself, and I feel I could never do her pages justice. I'm used to color Johanna Basford's books, so Rita's style is also different to me. I would love to see you color some of Rita's work 😊

Hi Shelly, There are so many pages that you featured in this video that I'd love to see as a colour along. A page from A Million Baby Animals would be fantastic, any page by Maria Trolle or from Circle of Life, Animaux Des Bois or Mythographic Magical Earth. Can I still tell you what pages I like most? First to say, you have so much beautiful books. Some I have too, others I naturally want immediatly. BUT, I want to colour what I have first, that will take a long time. But it is all about the fun, right? And if I cannot colour them myself, I would love to see you do it.... 😉 I really would like to see a page from the Year of Witches. I don't know that book, it is not my style either, but I am still intriged. I love the seasonal wreaths, a book that I really would like to have, but don't. And I liked your choice of the turtle in the Circle of life. That book I have and I would love to colour along with you.

This is my favorite video to watch every month. I love seeing all the ideas and plans everyone has, and most times I see pages in books that I never noticed before. I would love to see anything from Eriy, any of the Mythographic books, or Cristl Vogl. Also, Circle Of Life is one of my favorite books as well, so anything in that book. I just ordered the Flowers And Girls Volume2 - Korean book from Etsy, but it hasn't arrived yet, so maybe something in that one, too? Lots of great pages picked, hard to narrow it down. Gosh , so many beautiful books and so much choice . I started noting my favs but too many 😂. The only ones I am not as keen on are the portraits when there is not much else in the picture as I am not keen on colouring people . Very enjoyable video Shel 😊

Lovely video!! I have several of those books and love all those you have showed us---but I'm kind of inclined to finally do a page in "The Day we Met"!! It's so overwhelmingly CUTE!! I just got Joseph Catimbang's book Labyrinth and feel intimidated by it. I love all his books, but this one I'm struggling with visualizing how to color each page, especially the "puzzle" parts of each picture. I would love to see how you interpret one of his pages in this book.
