As promised, here is the coloured pencil tutorial most of you have asked for, combined with a timelapse, so it’s not boring and otherwise, the file size would be humongous and would potentially break my laptop if I made it all in normal speed. :S
I hope you find this tutorial helpful! I tried my best to make it easy to understand. Apologies if I didn’t go into much detail, I just wanted to give a general overview, instead of explaining step-by-step. Usually, I’d go with my gut instinct. I don’t have a particular process which I follow each time. In fact, every drawing that I’ve made, was drawn differently; it depends on how I’m feeling at that given time.
My advice to you is to do what YOU feel like because every artist is different. There’s no right or wrong in art. Try not to stress yourself by following exactly what other people do. Just do you!

I found it both comforting and refreshing to watch this video, as I have been seriously stressed out by starting out on my journey to colour pencil portraiture. I've watch so many videos giving different techniques and what to do and what not to do, and the list goes on, and frankly the whole thing is giving me a humungous headache. I have this huge box of 120 Faber Castell pencils that were given me for a Birthday present, and they are sitting there taunting me. Now I feel after having watched this that I should just go for it, after all what's the worst that can happen? Unfortunately I am the sort of person that expects perfection straight away, and I am so in awe of the work of others. This pencil sketch of yours is gorgeous.

This is my first time discovering you while searching for a Faber Castell writing pencil that I loved using and want to find more of. On the page your video was linked as a reference to the set you are using and my god this is absolutely beautiful! 😱🥰🧡 Your voice is also very soft, calming and gentle. Kind of reminiscent of the loving and easy in how you draw. I have noticed that artists often have a warm, soft and gentle personality and voice. On a side note I can not understand how 1 person, let alone 154 people actually dislike this ?! I am also very glad I don't have to understand it. I do wonder if I would be able to see it from a disliker's point of view as I am a very open minded person. I just see nothing to dislike in this loving masterpiece. Wow. I've been looking for an actual tutorial like this forever! You did amazinf explaining on what you did and how you did and why you're doing it! In most skin tutorials i usually see them use the most high end an expensive pencils. I have the 60 set of polycromos and this really helped me use different hues and undertones :)

I've just finished my black and white portrait phase and now I'm ready for colour pencils however the set I currently use has a very limited range so I'm hoping to buy the polychromos 24 set.
