Her method of registration must be flawless!! It is extremely difficult to make sure that the lino is correctly lined up through every layer. The odds of an off registration grows by every layer that is applied. That’s amazing! To find that method is an artwork of itself.

The colours & drawings are spectacular! Really vivid pieces of art. And being able to break down her images into highlights, then various colours, all in reverse is definitely a talent.

I am totally blown away by the phenomenal art in this video! I never would have guessed these were lino prints, but silkscreens. I've never seen reduced linocuts with so many colors and details! Anna's work is so unique as a printmaker. I'm definitely going to check out her website. She is so patient and persistent in pursuit (couldn't resist the alliteration lol) of her printmaking. My best wishes for her continued success as an artist! Thank you for sharing this wonderful Australian artist! Warmest regards, Dianna - Maryland, US

I am a beginner in printmaking. While I work professionally as illustrator, printmaking is 'just' a hobby, because it's yet another whole gigantic field to learn and i have so much to learn in other fields as well. I am a bit at my wits end with that printproject i try to complete and took to youtube to figure out, how to properly color in the plate and then i come across this. Everything about this video is magnificent. From the enthusiasm and great questions asked to that absolutely lovely artist, who is on a whole other level with her amazing skill. There is so much knowledge and hard work in this. This encourages me to try... 2 colors instead of one next year ; ) I just want to thank you for this video. it was so instructive and I cannot comprehend how great those prints turn out with a hand-printing method. I am in awe and very, very inspired and encouraged!

Wow, such a beautiful art. Vibrant colours and a reduction print method I still cannot get my head around. I am thinking of doing a multiblock print(just like the traditional Japanese woodblock prints) but I guess registration is key as well as the way you plan the colour and highlights.

What incredible work. Very inspirational. I imagine by the end of the print if you'd done everything right you'd be over the moon. I used a similar registration method once for screen printing and in the heat/excitement of the print run, kept putting them in the wrong way.

+Silvia Riley she said oil ink in the video! makes sense for these prints with so many layers. water based ink doesn't work that well for reduction prints, i'd say! :)
