It is crazy how we are expected to reintegrate into socializing and working like nothing has happened! On the skill front, you are so talented there is no way you've lost it! To regain your confidence and brush off the cobwebs maybe there are some friends/family you could practice on first? USPS is normally good but in the pandemic it has been messy, I have had packages that travel a long way take weeks and the tracker just does not update for disconcerting lengths of time, but eventually they all were delivered. I wouldn't lose hope that all is lost yet! I wish I had more advice, I just hope it is sorted as easily and speedily as possible for you!

I've been practicing on my friends which has made me feel a bit better, but still a bit rusty! Hoping I get back into the groove fairly quickly. Thank you so much for the reassurance about the package. My friend was finally able to get through to usps customer service so I'm really hoping we get this figured out

Thank u for doing the Supershock swatches! You're the only KZbinr I've seen so far swatch them. I'm not a teal fan, so only ordered the Supershock duo bc I don't have good aqua shimmers and I liked the photos they had on the CP website, but sometimes the photos can be off from irl colors. I loved the rhinestones in your look. ✨

I love that eye look, I have hooded eyes so not sure how exact I can get that kind of look :) The rhinestones look gorgeous with it. I'm a purple, cool, & jewel tones girl so I have most of CP's purple palettes, but the latest ones are so similar to what's already out I haven't bought the last few. I think I'm going to get high tide. I don't have much green in my collection other than Nook Inc. so this would be perfect for me. I may not use the top left 2 or new wave but I especially love mussel beach, flora, urchin, & Lunar. I LOVE coconut, it was one of the first few I bought when I first found CP, I'll pass on shore thing, too bright & light for me. I live in the US, I have had that happen, things just sit for a week, or 2 or 3 sometimes. It's really annoying seeing it in tracking just sit there in a PO barely 40 mins from my house. I don't think there's anything you can do, hopefully you got it by now or insured payout, since I'm watching this really late.

I got it finally! It took a big of a detour to San Francisco (I live in the Toronto area and it was shipping from Erie PA). I've found that I have gotten some good use out of this palette since I posted this so if you're unsure I'd say go for it :))

Can u contact the usps in Pittsburg and give them the parcel shipping number and see where it went .. even if your friend reshipped it she has to have some parcel number so u can find the location of it .. shipping here in the states have been rough .. I own my own store and usually for my customers it’s 10 to 14 days on orders but since covid 19 it has been a month to a month in half to receive any orders for my customers.. it’s a little ridiculous but there’s so many people not going to work so things are more difficult now with ordering and shipping .. customers get mad cause they have to wait longer but it’s the way it is right now ..

Your friend might be able to have them stop shipping like keep it where it is and then if you know anyone close to there have them pick it up and mail it a different way. I’m not sure if that will work because usps is picky about who they let pick stuff up but maybe it’s worth a try 🤷🏻‍♀️ good luck!!

she has submitted an inquiry on her end, neither of us can get through to a person! She's going to the post office tomorrow where she shipped it to see if there's any advice they can provide. Fingers crossed!

4th of July is not a great day either. God knows how painful it is to indigenous people and poc communities when they see a day of massacre and bloodshed is a national holiday. I think the whole world needs to look at their national holidays and make revisions. Every country has a dark past, or a black spot in their history, that needs to be addressed, and if possible, revised. Also, I looooove the eye look you created and the swatches you provided. Oh, and Mussel Beach and Lunar are the exact shades (Water bearer and Mermaid boy) from the Dream St palette.

I didn't know that about the 4th of July! I figured maybe it wasn't great but didn't do the research since I don't celebrate it. I totally agree, it's time we update holidays, names, important figures to reflect views and values that are current. The city of Toronto is considering changing the name of a major street (Dundas street) because the person it was named after supported slavery. Gross. WHAT! No way.. how did you know that? I have that palette and didn't even consider it to dupe.

@@KelseyClarkeMakeup I think the BLM movement started a big wave, people suddenly realized what they've been taught in schools isn't necessarily what happened in history. Like Columbus for example. Until very recently he was considered such a great explorer! He was nothing but a sick sick crazy greedy person. Oh you know Ulta "accidentally" gave it away. People realized that, under the shade names section, instead of Mussel Beach they had written Mermaid Boy. That's how it began, you know, people took their Dream St palettes out and started comparing the shades. I don't know how to feel about that because Water bearer and Mermaid boy are my favorite shades, so I wouldn't mind having some repeats in another palette, considering Dream St is discontinued

You do know that native Americans massacred and enslaved each other way before white people came to north America? Do you know that white people were in north America in ancient times (check the wind over bog mummies and the lovelock cave remains) and that natives killed whites, whites killed natives, natives killed natives etc ... utes enslaved Navajo.... in other words humans have been aggressive since the beginning of time . White people didn't invent aggression lol

In 2020 our former POTUS was so terrified to lose the election he hired someone to destroy our postal service. He literally destroyed 10s of millions of dollars worth of sorting machines and made it illegal to have employees to work overtime. It will take years to fix. But there’s good news. I subscribe to Boxycharm. They shipped my package June 17 and I didn’t get it until July 5. It sat in Kansas for five days with no response to my inquiries. So if you can wait please do. They’re working hard to not lose packages, but it takes a significantly longer time to sort and ship packages within the USPS now because it’s often done by hand. The politics have kept that man in his position so far because it will take an act of Congress to get rid of him and you see how it is here on the news. Hope this helps!!!

thank you for that info Michelle. The thing is if it was a 5 day wait it would be one thing, but it's been an entire month at this point. Thats so frustrating that they did that because online shopping is so prevalent, especially now.
