I had the same issue with colourpop and complained on all platforms about it. I was pretty annoyed. I don’t even want it. They advertised so much and didn’t have the ability to have enough stock. They should have limited it per person. And I am a pet peeve on time lines too. You aren’t alone. Thanks for sharing.

Same. Like I got on and waited 8 minutes to get to my cart and everything sold out. They KNOW what they did. It’s all for money. Smaller brands do a better job of this than they do. We need limits. I haven’t bought anything in over a year.

With the amount of the collab for Twilight showing up on eBay, Poshmark, etc, I'm pretty certain that the launch was small to create scarcity, but also botted pretty heavily. ALso the BBB palette looks like Menagerie Flight Club. I saw it on my timeline and thought it WAS Flight Club. I'm just now realizing it isn't.

The exact same thing happened to me while trying to buy the Twilight Palette. I was in line waiting to check out with it in my basket, and by the time I got to checkout, it was sold out. It’s so frustrating especially knowing that people are reselling it on eBay for 4 times the price. Colourpop really needs to limit number of items purchased. All in all it was a very messy and unprofessional release.

I feel the same about the Twilight release - a friend of mine and I were both in line for it and had the same thing happen, totally turned me off the collection. Which is disappointing as I was excited to see a collab palette that didn't look the same as the rest of their collab palettes. On a brighter note this look is fire and I am loving this shirt! 💙

My pet peeve is people who ignore a problem when it’s small. Most people are totally understanding as long as you keep them in the loop. But ignoring a problem and hoping it will go away… as it just gets bigger and bigger and bigger. Then everyone is mad. It wasn’t even that big of a deal but it was made into a big deal because no one wanted to communicate.

The delivery companies only job is to get set free from place A to place b in a timely manner. I really had issues with unearthly cosmetics shipping partner or whoever they had. I ordered the dreamer collection in the very beginning of December and I just now got it. It said it was in stock. 6 weeks for an in stock product. So I feel you on that. Thank you for being transparent about shipping!

i don't think it's in stores. i haven't seen anyone posting that they got it, which often happens with colourpop. stores get it and then put it out early. i work at ulta and we did not get it and my manager doesn't think we're going to since we already got our truck shipment. new products launch on the ulta app at 6am central time sundays.

I somehow obtained the Twilight Colourpop collab but what I think happened is the "entire set" bundle sold out first and I only wanted the palette and 1 highlighter. People who put the bundle in their cart got to checkout and it had sold out by the time the awful line to checkout mechanism went through, but then going back to the homepage and filling your cart again there wasn't enough time in the next checkout line. They should have definitely had more stock and also limited the amount you can order.

When people are late for work constantly by like a minute or two , then spend another 5 or 10 minutes in the backroom getting ready to actually work. Also people who take longer breaks than interrupt me constantly on mine because all of a sudden we are "super busy" but it's code for my boyfriend just got in and I need to go makeout with him. I'm a put my head down and power through my day. If I stop or slow down, it messes with my rhythm. Also, I have no care for petty drama and gossip. I could go on.

My main issue with the Twilight collab is the misleading teaser shot. There was a gorgeous red lip look used to tease the collection-which is a look you can’t get using any of the collection’s products. And they won’t post what products were used to make the look! I’m super salty.

Correction: the new Tarte palette comes in 2 different shade ranges. Also, I think the cheek products are cream, so it is something new from Tarte. More affordable than other cream face palettes

I think it's funny it sold out and people are ticked off. So many complaints, yet it sold out. Also, this happens with Bellabeautebar, Ensley Reign, Unearthly, and several other brands so I'm wondering why everyone has their undies in a twist. Colourpop said it will be restocked. Why aren't people getting mad that this happens ALL THE TIME with other brands? I guess if you get it in PR it doesnt matter that the rest of us go through this with literally EVERY indie release. Yet those brands arent being told their product won't be purchased now. The double standard is kind of sad in my opinion.

I would have dearly loved to see you in the Twilight collection. Honestly, if I had one, I'd send it to you! 3. Red lipstick will look great on you! When I worked in the City and had to dress up every day, I often wore red lipstick in the fall/winter. I just tried the Colourpop Lux lip oil for the first time this week and I *LOVE* it. I'm not a Twilight fan, but I wanna try the black lip oil so bad! I've finally gotten my perfect contour, highlight, and bronzer shade for the first time *ever* so I have no interest in all-in-one palettes anymore. I got them off of your recommendations too! I just got the Fenty contour stick in Amber Suede, Colourpop super shock bronzer in Isle Bet, and have been loving the Wet and Wild megaglo Highlighting Powder in Golden Flower Crown. Now I just need fun blush colors. Speaking of, I just picked up the High School Musical Playoffs Blush. I've never had a red blush before and I'm super stoked to try it!! I was so pissed with Colourpop!! I had the entire collection in my cart was trying to checkout and it was gone. So disappointed in Colourpop. Like seriously did they not expect it to be a big hit. I love your brushes and will be ordering another set of the eye brushes. I did buy the new brushes and sponge/puff, the one thing I did miss was the card that tells you what the brush should be used for.

I love this comment. I went for all my 20s and approx 80% of my 30s wearing only clear sunscreen; black eyeliner pencil; and bright fuschia, red or hot pink lipstick . Then i got into eyeshadow for the first time and it spiraled to tons of other beauty products. It's so much more fun than I realized. And I intend to make the most of my eyelids while they're still firm enough to easily apply and show off complex shadows looks!

I enjoyed reading the Twilight series as the books came out but never really took to the movies or the rest of it. When I saw CP announce it I was soooo thankful it was not something I was going to be interested in because I could only imagine the trainwreck it was going to be.... and I am sad that it was. It seemed like they had gotten better in the past few years with these releases but apparently not with this one. I totally get the meh and being over it! And totally unrelated.... Oh I was so mad at myself when the Twilight collection launched. I forgot it and I tried to order 20:25 so 25 minutes late. I was able to put the palette in my basket, but on checkout it was sold out. I can now forgive myself, I guess I never stood the chance to get it 🤷🏼‍♀️

Hi, Angie! I just wanted to offer you a note of encouragement. You don’t need to keep apologizing for doing what you need to do to keep yourself sane, to build your brand, and to make a living. If content creators are going to short form platforms, I will not be following them. My brain is messed up enough from KZbin as it is. I now have the attention span of a gnat just from having gotten into watching KZbin videos so much, which are usually 30 minutes or less. Loving the fairy lights in the background, gives a lovely touch of warmth. Pet peeve in a professional setting? When someone over-promises and under-delivers. If suppliers did that, there are options going forward, but if someone in your team has done that; not only does it increase everyone else's workload, it erodes trust if people make a habit of it. I am assuming Colourpop will do a "back by popular demand" re-stock of the Twilight collab? If so, it is a bit of a low move to build up hype. Thankfully, I didn't want it, so was soared the frustration, but I can understand the dismay ppl felt, seeing their baskets empty whilst waiting to pay

I love your backdrop! Go with whatever you like! My personal preference for backdrops for creators (because that matters SO much 😅) is to feel like I’m in the room with them. So it feels like we are friends chatting about makeup. I really don’t prefer the sanitized backdrops that are like the creator is on a set. Doesn’t feel as cozy and personal that way!

I love the essence lash princess mascara( mint green heart ). I’ve tried high end and other drugstore brands. I always go back to that one. It gives my lashes a false lash look. I will try the primer and maybe the brown mascara

I was recording a last minute video with a few colleagues. I had already taken time out of my day to write my script, we stayed after hours to complete it, then in the middle practicing my lines, the one colleague that harasses me regularly said I needed to fix my eyebrow. I said, no that's just how my eyebrows are! They are bushy in the front. Then I asked her if I could continue. Pretty sure she was trying to purposely get me to mess up my lines. Anyways, I delivered my set of lines flawlessly, she struggled with several sections of hers. I felt better. 😂

I so get your annoyance with that freight company and it would annoy me too. never had anything like that in my work life so far, but I had way too many meetings that coul have been emails. Poor Riccardo. What also annoyed me, people just CCing too many unnecesary people and chain mails where you had to scroll way up to see what this is all about. Fun times I do no miss at all. 😂But congrats on the Singe restock, one day these brushes will also be part of my toolbox, for now I just admire them and smile whenever I see other youtubers use them 😁.

What bothers me professionally is when a company can not take constructive criticism or listen to issues. When instead of listening to the customer they just want to argue / be the one in the right. It really goes a long way to listen to customers and put them first ❤

My coworker was trying to get the twilight palette during her break and it sold out and the whole office was bummed for her and then she said it sold out and was a mess on Ulta too I don’t understand how they did not have nearly enough supply to meet the demand on both websites 🤧 Really happy I placed my first singe order I know it will be worth the wait!
