Looks good. I have one of those Joker Hopper 63 Impalas. The front & rear lights light up & it hops the front & back end up & down just like the real deal. Its my favorite kit, probably 35 yrs old & i put new batteries in it this week & it still all works from a hand controller rocker switch.

Looks like a great kit, I love the '60's Impalas, & you did it justice with a top job!! You should do cars more often. It turned out quite nice, I'm impressed. 👍 🦘

Glad to see another video. This is similar to a model I attempted of the Supernatural Impala. Due to my own fault it didn't end well. I have to do another one, however you gave me a few ideas and the inspiration to have another go. Keep up the good work

A very very cool build I'm into Impala's big time and thus the reason I came across the video. What an awesome job even for someone not having done a car since he was young. I just love the build thanks for the video and sharing. 🙂Thomas over at The Model Hobbyist

Loving the details in this kit, although I am not sure if it's still available. Great job you/re doing on it as well - I have two Impalas in my collection I built some 20 years ago, maybe it's time for another one. You surprised me at the end with the lights, though, but that is an awesome touch!

Just a FYI the little round parts on the door panels you called speakers are actually chrome and are the impala logo

Yea, noticed a little late, and that's how the instructions showed it. Oh well

Like the lighting idea. Is there a way to hinge the trunk and use a watch battery with the LEDs and have a switch there?
@modelsbychris9 ай бұрын
A battery could probably be placed in the rear trunk area with access and a switch maybe on the bottom side.

You radiated all of the enthusiasm that a husband has when told to do something that he doesn't want to do by his wife. I say that as a husband who has been told to do something that he doesn't want to do by his wife. I got to minute 7.. Sorry. Not your fault.

Not sure I follow what you're saying. This wasn't something I didn't want to do, and I wasn't told to do it. It was a fun build and very nostalgic.
