I shot one of these back in the day. These thing was crazy accurate and shot well. I can not believe why they did not get more popular.

No surprise at all. There's not that many of those that were sold so supply is tight. The whole gun market went out of whack with covid and the quality name vintage rifles and revolvers have soared sky high and stayed there. Example...the Savage 99 was never real popular as people, including me, thought they were ugly and not amazingly accurate. Now they appear to be valued like artifacts from the 2nd Egyptian Dynasty.

I would love to own one of these but proprietary magazines and the price for these used ruins it for me. At that point I can build my own that uses glock magazines for a fraction of the price, it just doesn't have the "cool" pony stamped on it.

Yes. Springfield has one similar. But isn't it Glock compatible?

Unless you're dead-set on the carry handle, the Colt 6951 exists and can be found for ~$1000. This is an uncommon Atlantic Firearms "L."

Proprietary Colt mags
@GMSkaldak27 күн бұрын
Colt SMG pattern magazines. Colt labeled mags retail for $60 each, whereas Metalform labeled mags (they make the Colt labeled mags for Colt, just fyi) are around $35 each. Recently, Springfield Armory has started selling mags for their Saint Victor 9, and those are retailing for $30 each (they're also made by Metalform, lol). All others mags (ASC, Duramag, etc.) are kinda iffy and best suited for range days.
