Colt Clark and the Quarantine Kids play "Pinball Wizard"

Hey guys! Tonight’s song BLEW. MY. MIND! I really thought we’d have trouble getting this one down. This was the second take. They nailed the first one too, but thought they might be able to do it better so they played it again. As Colt and the kids play, part of what I do is watch their hands to make sure they’re all on the same beat. I kept trying to do that tonight, and realized I couldn’t because they were all playing something completely different. This is song is super complex. Each person had to keep their own rhythm in perfect time to match up with everyone else. It’s kind of like rubbing your belly and patting your head at the same time. I am just amazed they pulled this off so quickly and made it look so easy. This is Colt Clark and the Quarantine Kids playing “Pinball Wizard” by one of our favorite bands THE WHO!

Hello everyone! We're the Clark family. Colt (the dad) is a professional musician and Aubree (me, the mom behind the camera) is a photographer. Together we home school our three children (even when we're not in the middle of a pandemic). :) To keep busy during the shutdown we started learning and recording a new song every other day to share with our friends and family.
