Thoroughly enjoyed ur reaction! Love Colter Wall, new sub. Thank you! Since I just found you, I would be remiss to not turn you on to Ren. Ren Gill ("Ren") is the most impressive, unique & talented artist I've ever run across, and I'm nearly 50 yo. Ren is a rabbit hole I fell in to nearly 2 yrs ago & im happy to stay! Rens story is as inspiring as his music. He's helped many people by having the courage to tell his story and share his message of hope through music. I Highly recommend diving into this incredible man's background & vast catalog. He has Many styles so if one song's not for you, another may be. Ren's music changed my life for the better, as well as over a million other Renegades (fans). The best place to start is with, "Hi Ren". It's 9 minutes long, but I implore you to watch to the end for the message. Thank you again, kindest regards. (P.s. to note- As youll see in "Hi Ren", Ren does most of his music videos one take/live.)

SF brother, this guy is the real deal. He turned down a shot on the Joe Rogan show because, he was tending a herd of cattle in the winter and couldn't leave. He wrote many songs in his "bunk house" ( ha ha, wifi and all)

The devil he refers to is the actual Devil and he made a contract with him to become famous through his music but it costs you your soul. Its the crossroads of Robert Johnson story and is a very real thing. There are numerous music artists that have admitted to this fact and including some that are in the 29 club. If you dont know what that is do a little research, very interesting stuff. Thanks for the reaction, really liked it.

Colter doesn’t “sing” like this anymore. He said he didn’t know how to sing! Lol I just love him to pieces! He was only 21 years old when this was recorded. You should checkout the other two songs in this session!! They are amazing! Even though he has “learned to sing” he is still amazing! I would suggest listening to Simon and Garfunkel’s Sound of Silence FIRST then listen to Disturb’s cover of it!! It will blow you away!!

I liked the way you interpreted this because I feel artists sometimes sell their soul to the music executives, but in this case the song is about Robert Johnson’s crossroads
