I love how so many people judge him for what he did without understanding his struggle. Don’t get me wrong, his actions were NOT great, ……but neither is silent deep depression that leads to suicide. I know all too well what the pressures of the world can make you feel and hide inside. It took a ton of strength to admit his wrongs and face his struggle.

Colton Underwood has suffered from such distress for the majority of his life. Growing up in a small town and a deeply religious background, he suffered in silence. Playing football in high school and college, he had to go along with everyone or have his secret revealed. The Bachelor franchise used his virginity for ratings, and he was treated with no respect by the producers. He made mistakes with Cassie, and was wrong but he has admitted it. Colton was in a very bad condition emotionally at the time. Colton deserves happiness with his fiance, and I think he is a good man.

I'm not going to say what Colton did deserves an "oopsie!" response, but what we see in Colton is the right decision to change after being in such a low point in his life that affected others like Cassie, and a willingness to choose love and support, unlike others who continue to worsen in their anger and fear. Obviously his privilege plays a role in that, but nontheless he is an inspiring figure to me over his approach to life.
