As an Iowa fan, far too many lowlights. This definitely takes me back to my younger years watching football. Katzenmoyer was amazing. He looked like a machine out there. And considering his injury history, he's a prime example of why these dudes should get paid in some form.

he really was a great player. and these old highlights only bring the repeated pain of realization of how JCooper really messed up not accomplishing more than he did with all the talent he had on those teams in the 90's.

REMEMBER WHEN => OSU BECAME LINEBACKER U !!! Loved those BIG HITS !!!!! Cooper and Meyer always underachieved => because they played the WRONG QB in the WRONG OFFENSIVE SCHEME. Meyer was worse (even though we beat TTUN) => at least Copper had the common sense to put Joe Germaine in => so we could win the game. Cardale Jones only got in when JT Barrett was injured.....or we don't win the 2014 NATTY. OSU beat TTUN, in 2017 => because Meyer's QB was injured again. In 2016, Ohio State lost 0 - 31 to Clemson with Burrow and Haskins on the BENCH. Our REC'vers TORCHED CLEMSON's DB's ! Meyer squandered 3 NATTY's playing JT ! At least COOPER inserted Joe Germaine into the Rose Bowl Game and came home a victor because of his OWN VOLITIONAL DECISION.

These are most of his great plays. We were losing to Missouri away when Katzenmoyer changed the game by crushing Jones. I also still talk about that pass he batted away against WV. They thought Zereoué was going to win the Heisman that year... same with Iowa's RB, who was quoted after the game saying Katzenmoyer was in the backfield more than he was. ;) Katzenmoyer also shut down Ron Dayne when he was there. But the main thing this video doesn't capture is the year before we got Biakabutuka'ed. Andy put an end to that $!%&. I'm pretty sure another RB never rushed for over 100 yards the 3 years Katzenmoyer was there.

IMO…. He was the best linebacker of all time, he was fast, huge, and could hit like a freight train….. I had a chihuahua at the time and she was obsessed with him… she would sit and stare at the screen when he played, I had to buy a sports illustrated so I could get his picture to put on the wall next to her bed and she would just lay there and look at it, when she passed, I had her cremated and got his football card and it lays on top of her urn.
