LT was the best and most dominate player to ever play sports. I am so happy I watched his whole career. The stuff he did was one of kind. We are always looking for the next LT. And it will always be that way because there will never be another LT. Scared the bejesus out of people.
@JP-jm9fy2 жыл бұрын
I had the honor of watching L.T. when I was a kid. He was such a beast he had whole teams draft game plans to contain him. Problem was if you focused solely on him another lineman or linebacker was in the QB face. He was an animal of a linebacker.
@peterworam93763 жыл бұрын
I grew up Blue. I remember watching LT as a kid and how electrifying he made everything. The guy made football exciting for NY fans from the standstill it had been leading up to him. I started to think of LT as the monster from the Alien movies. His speed, approach and aggressiveness were frightening. If you watch him, from snap he pursues at a constant shallow angle to the field as if he is about to make a tackle and plays that way to point of contact. At no point does he let up or become even remotely vertical. Tough as nails - he went into each and every play like he was going to own it. Both of my sons played primarily D in their pee wee and HS days, and it always exciting whenever they were lucky enough to pull "56" from the jersey pool.

Lt was intercepting balls and running them back for touchdowns that's why I'd pick him over Reggie White defensively.
@brianmcintyre5033 жыл бұрын
That's a tough call. Reggie was a de. Hard to make ints as a de.. But def 2 of the best if not the best at their positions.
@MrMarmarsFilms3 жыл бұрын
Reggie White was great in his own right but LT put the Giants on his back to 2 super bowl victories. Even though Reggie won a super bowl with the Packers, he never could get the Eagles to the promised land, not taking anything away from Reggie's greatness Had RW played linebacker and was dominant as he was a DE, I maybe would've given RW a slight edge but it would still be tough to call.

I remember the greatest play i ever saw that i literally couldn’t believe. It was in 1983 i think against the cowboys. Cowboys ball with taylor lined up on the left side. The cowboys run a misdirection like they are going left with tony Dorset, but they reverse into a right side sweep. At first LT bit and went left then realized what was happening. This is where he went superman mode. I mean he turn and runs all the way across the backfield of the cowboys and catches Dorset from behind and brings him down. I swear to god i couldn’t believe my eyes! First because he was out of the play and could have just left it to his team mates, but the guy had no quit in him. When he caught Dorset from behind i just watched in stunned awe. I think they replayed it like five times. I always look for it in highlights but never see it. I think its one of the greatest defensive plays of all time.
