Very informative. I was diagnosed with a very enlarged spleen. I had to stop any activity that could cause my spleen to rupture. Stop riding horses, taken care of cattle. Basically doing nothing these last 9 months. This video was very informative to me I am starting in exercise to get my strength back. I like your advise on eating and the mineral supplement. I am on a maintenance treatment now off of the Chemo. I am slowly getting my taste back. It's hard to eat when most things taste bad. Keep it up. God Bless ! God has Blessed me and is curing my cancer.

Great info! I have seen a lot on the cold plunge thing. Do your extremities stay cold longer after you get out? Just a few questions I have in my mind.

The obvious answer is the colder the water the longer it takes. But as you acclimate you don’t feel nearly as cold as your body really is and you get out feeling amazing afterwards. If you do exercise right after a cold plunge it is important you do some light exercises like body weight exercises or maybe walking to let your body warm up before you get to more intense exercises. One thing I try to do is not go jump straight into a hot shower. I want my body to warm up on its own and get maximum benefits from the 3-6minutes I spent in the cold plunge.

I agree with excercises but to tell people or women go abd lift heavy weights is probably not the correct way to begin any workout. Small boned or small framed women should start with small weights or resistance workouts. Maybe a pilates which helps with stretching and gives a proper warmup. I was a professional ballet dancer so warmup is important and can prevent injuries. I grew up in a ballet studio first & always is warmup. I agree with your idea of excercises but jumping into heavy weights hmmmm. Happy trails

Never said to just walk into the gym and pick up the heaviest things without a warm up. But there is a reason stores have to put out “slippery when wet signs”… common sense goes a long way. Warmups are obviously needed. I made it clear through the focus and emphasis on the importance of lifting heavy weights. Many avoid the heavy lifting portion (especially women) and science proves its importance to short and long term health which is why I focused on that portion.
