I like the mention regarding the high durability of the ball. This is something you don't see any other ball manufacturers talk about. Those of us who don't want to (or can't afford to) buy a whole new arsenal every year appreciate durability in a ball. Other ball manufacturers (I will not drop names) seem to design their balls to last around 100 games, or they crack after 1 year. I like Columbia because their balls seem to last longer than other brands. I have a Chaos Black that is 2.5 years old and it still hits just like when it was new.

Brunswick has been advertising durability for a few years now, especially with their DOT technology. Now that Columbia is under the Brunswick umbrella, some of that is being passed along to the other brands. This new Power Torq doesn't utilize DOT, only DynamiCore (also passed along from Brunswick.). The use of DynamiCore alone isn't going to make a ball last any longer or make it less susceptible to cracking. The use of the term "durable" as it relates to the DynamiCore outer core material is bit misleading by Brunswick. If DynamiCore alone made a ball more durable they wouldn't have needed to also develop DOT technology. Don't get me wrong, I am a huge fan of Brunswick equipment. However marketing of bowling balls is typically all hype and marketing fluff.

I’m throwing a Columbia 300 Noize from 2008. I completely agree with you! 😂😂

@@Kim-FP5 I had a C300 Noise. It is one of my favorite balls of all time. Perfect medium performance ball that worked for me on almost all house patterns.

I won my first regional in 92/93 with the original Power Torq. Great to see a new one, but I wish it was Green not the robins egg blue. Very cool
