Columbia Basin Event (EAS Scenario)

Siren Pack: drive.google.com/drive/folder... This vid, unlike Thundersnow, didn't have to be rushed, but I had to make it in 4 days with limited free time and I'm still happy with it.
Still waiting for a time slot to really make videos the way I want without motivation issues or some new life event happening.
There is a good chance there are small details that were done wrong with some of the weather radios. Please let me know if that is the case.

This is really good. I like how you changed the idea of the EASyPLUS Screen by putting a map of the warned area at the start of the video, Also like how it says what a level 3 evacuation means. I also love the idea of real NOAA Weather Radios in actual EAS Scenarios. The end screen was also interesting as the *** Nuclear Power Plant Warning *** part was in purple. Very unique screens from you! Great work! I swear, you literally have the best sirens in the world or something lmao.

Stagnant air and carbon monoxide. A particularly deadly one-two punch. This is a chillingly plausible scenario, especially with fires burning hotter and longer thanks to Climate Change. And you knocked this out in just 4 days! You must have just had this idea appear in your head one day. I am impressed.

The advisory is for Carbon Monoxide (CO), but at 8:04 the chemical formula shown is H2O2, or Hydrogen Peroxide.

I really like this. The only thing I would change would be to elaborate on the water contamination, and give a reason why it happened, such as a chemical spill. Maybe a chemical plant caught fire and was damaged, or a vehicle transporting chemicals crashed due to poor visibility from the smoke, and happened to be close to the body of water that supplied clean water to people.

The fact that they shut off water for a NUCLEAR POWER PLANT is so stupid. A Nuclear power plant needs any water. It doesn’t matter what water it uses. Though it can also be shut down for emergency purposes. Also if there was any sort of emergency in the area like a wildfire, the workers would have already shut the plant down. Even if the fire was insanely huge with high flames, they wouldn’t do much to a power plant. Workers build these with highly flame retardant materials. Amazing job with this. Even though it is a slight bit unrealistic with the power plant part, it was truly excellent. I am actually a worker at a nuclear power station myself. We have super strict protocol even during high stress emergency conditions like this to make sure everyone is safe. This also means that even if not shut down the chance for meltdown if a slim chance go none.

Quick note. I wasn’t aware the first alert was a fire until they briefly mentioned it. If this was done on purpose disregard. Also during the message where you were talking about the unintended consequences of carbon monoxide in the area you say H2O2 but that’s Hydrogen Peroxide not carbon monoxide (CO). Otherwise very well done! I could see this being a bigger scenario. You also threw me for a loop as I anticipated the cause was one thing but nothing came of it and then you threw the end alert in and i was like Oop. Shit. Unrelated but how do you make the moving text and what do you use to generate the EASvoices

Pretty good and also believable until the Nuclear Power Plant Part. If the plant workers were absent, and the water stopped flowing to the plant suddenly with no preparation there would be no release of nuclear materials. The plant would undergo a partial meltdown in the worst-case scenario. In the best case, the automatic systems would successfully shut everything down with control rods and failsafe sealing of the reactors. There is no realistic situation outside of malicious intent that would cause any of the U.S. nuclear plants to release a dangerous amount of radioactive materials.
