Watching the waves break on Coos Jetty during a big storm is epic. The wave blast riding along the jetty line 2-3x it's height is so impressive.

It is really something to see. I love watching it. There was a sand bar out at Gearhart that was causing breakers and awesome curls one day about 200 feet from the beach that was real cool to watch.

Man I’ve fished there dozens of times over the last 40 years and only once have I ever seen it any where near that rough.

It was pretty crazy that day. I didn't expect to catch anything as it was King Tide day. I am going to go back, probably in Feb when things might be a bit calmer. LOL

That is what I was thinking. But there were some pretty big tides that day so I don't know if that would have helped
