I'm back in the states now, but I look around at people my age and younger and it disgusts me. They grew up with everything handed to them and they are the worst. My mother worked in the DA's office for about 15 years. It's stressful and traumatizing, far beyond the "distress" created on campii by these protests. You cannot imagine the depravity and licentiousness she witnessed completing packets for trial. The law is not for them.

I saw an interview with one student after the courts heard a motion by students about being banned from class and that they could not take their final exams. The girl said but if I do not write I cannot graduate this year. I did not know that this could happen to me. Comments were "no sympathy, welcome to the adult world where you are responsible for your actions, and so on". Plus many corporations are now saying if they see someone apply for a job and they are from Columbia their resume is to be tossed.
