High interest rates don't just affect "young couples buying their first home", it affects others. My wife and I are in our 50s and have a rock solid 3.5% interest rate because we had the foresight to build in 2016. 8 years later, my wife's aged mother is living with us. Our house is too small and we don't have handicapped access for her. Yet, we CAN'T move because our mortgage would literally DOUBLE. Biden should be thrown out on his keister! Sure these companies loose money but thats nothing compared to the amount they make, and currently percent increase in wages are at a historic low compared to percent increase in company profits maybe i should clarify, i think median wages should be increased, not only minimum wage albeit slowly.
