As a kid growing up in Troutdale back in the 80's, in the summer months, I would pick up my friend in the morning, get a bunch of snacks and a 64oz super big gulp and cruise along the gorge all day long and hit all the falls and parks along the way. Multnomah falls was one that we hit often to cool off in the streams below. Back then you could go off trail and go behind the falls and get soaked from the massive volume of spray. Man, that was quite a lot of fun!

It's a propaganda "sketch" for the Copperheads, which was a democratic political party during the Civil War. I don't know what it has to do with Columbia River Highway. But it wouldn't be surprising if Ford Motor company was pushing Pro union ideals in the middle of WWI.

The Copper Heads were northerners who opposed the Civil War and advocated a political settlement with the Confederacy.
