As an American of partial Levantine descent: When are my fellow Americans going to acknowledge that you can’t prevent acts of injustice committed by people in other countries by protesting in your own? Like, do they actually think that the whole region will just magically transform into a utopia overnight the moment the U.S. stops giving stuff to Israel? I don’t like Israel’s government either, but it’s gonna take a lot more than building a shantytown on a college campus to solve all the issues in the Middle East, I’ll tell you that right now.

@@AteAVistaAdeus this is not the way to "start." this is just counter-productive. i'm sick of people that just want to "fight for some cause" and are passionate about spreading hate. this is just like the hysteria with covid (when people were protesting against nurses and blocking hospital routes) and blk movement (george floyd's brother had to step in and tell people this violence is not what george would want). if you really talk to these protestors long enough, you'll find out they really don't know too much; it's just surface facts. yet they are so passionate about spreading hate and creating chaos. it's always like this. they think creating chaos is the solution. just illogical and irrational thinking. honestly, they just want to fight; they are passionate about fighting. they will always find another issue to "support."
