In the fourth episode of The Dialog Project, Manan Thakkar discusses his journey from being a BA Economics student at the Hindu College, Delhi University to an MA Economics student at Columbia University, New York, USA.
He talks in brief about his profile before applying, the extra-curricular activities and internships he did. He shares his pieces of advice on enrolling in counseling services for the application and writing a Statement of Purpose.
He also discusses the on-campus Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant jobs available at Columbia University and how one can leverage those opportunities.
Further, Manan mentions the job market scenario in New York, and how one can increase his/her job opportunities by attending networking events and interacting with people, outside of a formal setting.
Towards the end, he discusses the skill-sets one should build on in order to accelerate their growth trajectory and mentions the importance of having sound technical and financial skills.

I have CGPA of 3.3 in bba and I have published research paper on national paper and i want to study economics in USA. Can i get RATA? GRE is compulsory or not? Please please please reply this may change my life.

For masters in economics, if u dont have a very good GPA but a very high gre score can u get into a good university?
