This is a perfect song to end off a great series. It’s quite sad the anime adaption series is coming close to an end, but I really enjoyed it! Been a fan of this franchise for about a decade now and loved every single moment of it! Sweet Arms did a really amazing job for this ending, it actually did made me a little emotional hearing it for the first time ❤

I do think they will end the anime series here with Season 5 because I predicted the cliff hanger ending will be Tohka vanishing in Shido's arms😣 And then later in a year or 2 there will be a movie of volume 21-22 Beast arc ending the whole series completely.

I genuinely love this SO much. This is the most emotional vocal date a live song yet, i love the piano so much, and sweet arms dont miss. i know this is gonna be SO emotional and hit so different later in the season based on things ive heard and spoilers ive seen, im not ready lol. gonna listen to this song so many times, its just so nice, and the visuals are equally beautiful. Date a Live will forever be one of my favourite series of all time.

Oh my LORD the beauty in this song. I can feel it in the piano. Those first chords / keys are literally tears. It's the tragedy of Romeo (Shin) and Juliet (Mio). I can't believe how it went from such a Rom Com Harem vibe with Kurumi sort of hoarding all dark storyline moments off screen from happening --- All of the spirits and their dates - the game vibe of date choices of: Sweet & Genuine, Shy / Quiet, or Confident / Kinky - it went from such a light hearted funny story to SOOOOO DARK!!! The darkest thing I think before this was Origami's backstory and her almost Eren Yeager level hatred for spirits which was cured by Shido both from traveling back in time to dating her now. Dude has a harem but he was robbed of his literal soul mate who divided her soul into the others and now he can't just stop loving them all for the sake of a literal past life. I can't side with Mio but I can't argue against her either after she explained it perfectly; she couldn't save him as he was, she couldn't just forget him, and she couldn't even hope to die one day to forget or reunite in another life, so she did unspeakable / forbidden things to the innocent and is willing to bear it on her own to get back what she lost. It's a great story but MAN did it flip a switch with it's story tone when Mio shows up. This is what would happen if Juliette couldn't die with Romeo.

In this situations I always say one of the most interesting quotes "you can love someone and hate at the same time the thing they had done" it's a beautiful contradiction that mio shows too.... Her suffering doesn't justify the suffering and blood she dragged on other people but I can't help to feel love and affection if I think about how saddening it his to wait 30 years emotively lonely unable to be understood all for a simple hope for happyness that was brutally taken away after a life of imprisonment and scientific sadism.... That's soo saddening that in the end make her feel happyness too after all that pain and sadness she had to withstand...

The Outro is the best one out of the entire series. As well as the intro. So much work paid off. I love all that this show has to offer. It was the best romance anime ever. I hope the creator considers making a sequel or prequal or an in-between story. Maybe the years she made the spirts and their background. Or the full story of shido and shido only. From him being born up until now.
