Beautiful. Visited about 50 years ago. I remembered my parents took us on top of the rock to see Venezuela. The climbing to the top of the rock was fun

Visited there about 20 years ago and there was an arch that connected the two points (14mins in the vid)....I think it fell broke and fell in the 2010s. It was undercut by the currents forming the arch which eventually collapsed...beautiful place. Great vid!!

Hi, Trinbago Vibes, i enjoyed the video thanks for the information. I visited Columbus bay when i was small, i remembered the waters was calm and the water was very clear. Sad to see how the beach is eroding and how people are leaving the beach dirty. It is one of Trinidad and Tobago beautiful beaches, people please take pride and keep our beaches clean and beautiful. Again thank you for showing us our beautiful country, keep safe and have a bless week. 😊

Great video! The rock you climbed on, people often go on top there to fishen from on the peak. @13:37 The "bridge" you crossed to reach the rock, there is a super dangerous underwater current if you fall in there, despite it looking calm. It can carry you out in the ocean fall. Alot of people died on Columbus Bay due to extremely strong currents. Alot of them have not been found to date.
@TrinbagoVibes11 ай бұрын
Thanks and yeah, that’s why I had to emphasize the warning at the beach, and never underestimate the underwater currents

@TrinbagoVibes11 ай бұрын
They are called the 3 sisters, I'm assuming they were once part of the headland that got separated as a result of erosion over time, but that's just a theory
@raoulroberts202429 күн бұрын
I so share your frustration, even anger, regarding the litter. We can be better, if not for others to enjoy, for ourselves on our next visit. Seeing the erosion up close is alarming yet sad; nonetheless, it was still educational. That little cliff you climbed might one day become a 4th sister. Thank you for another gem, Trinbago Vibes.👍🏾💙🤍❤️

Good Evening Rajeev, With regards to the "litter" on the beach,... I am very sure that ALCOHOL WAS NOT A CONTRIBUTING FACTOR. 😉 I am also expecting someone to motion the idea that the litter washed ashore during high tide. Do have a good rest of the weekend.

Are those, the flying fish? I didn't know about Columbus Bay. Either the secondary school Geography or History textbook deleted it back in the 1960s, or I zoned out. I had three years of Geography only, because I had to pick between that subject and Math for GCE O Levels. Is any of the trash washing ashore from Venezuela? Also people who don't belong there, might be discarding their trash.

@TrinbagoVibes11 ай бұрын
The Atlantic Ocean is on the eastern part of Trinidad, this is the south western and still falls within the Gulf of Paria, even if you move further south it’s the Columbus Channel…check over the map of Trinidad
@TurboRog1411 ай бұрын
@@TrinbagoVibes Sorry you are incoorect, The Gulf of Paria is a Gulf contained on our Western side only between the Serpents Mouth at Icacos and the 3 Islands known as Monos, Huevos and Chac. The North side of the Island is the Caribbean Sea, The East and Southern side is the Atlantic Ocean. On the Southern Side the Atlantic that hits our shores is Locally known as the Columbus Channels. Your Map you reference is wrong. "What are the bodies of water around Trinidad? Trinidad and Tobago is an archipelagic republic in the southern Caribbean between the Caribbean Sea and the North Atlantic Ocean, northeast of Venezuela."
