As a young lady back in the early 2000s,UWI doubles was the tastiest.To this day,I have never had doubles like that😭😭😭 They made it on the spot and they had all the condiments to go along ie coconut chutney,cucumber etc...First time on your channel,watching from Chile 🇨🇱 keep up the good work!!

Good Video and as someone who use to live Palmyra all his life, i can say most of the best doubles vendors would have been sold out and left long before you passed. Palmyra junction or commonly known as Linkup junction has at least 3 which are really good. Also Palmyra Village ends at Reform Junction and after that is called Mount Stewart Village 👍

i loved watching this. Thank you for it. FYI you missed spots because you came out late. Next time wake up earlier and the Persad's double will blow your mind (the hotter the better). They are the best (the one at Craignish is also a Persad's doubles) and you missed a doubles spot in new grant on the left side just before Hindustan Junction, it looks like a parlour and sells chicken and shrimp doubles. Hey, there is a a doubles and aloo pie vendor in St.Helena, Piarco. I believe it is on the same side of the gas station opposite KFC if you are heading east. I do not know the name, someone brought me an aloo pies which was delicious and at least 2 persons rated the doubles very high. I believe the place recently open. Bit of info Palmyra starts at St clement's junction and ends at Reform junction also the junction you are calling palmyra junction is known as The link up or link road junction . After Reform Is Mt Stewart village till Sapoti hill where Dr Alis horses were. After that is Cleghorn village. Next time try "D pie shop" in Mt Stewart on the main road. Good pies, doubles and sweets hot on the spot friendly staff

Thanks Barry… still on the hunt, there use to be a dude who use to come out very early on a morning by superpharm in Valsayn… almost a decade ago, that was a 5, as well as sauce back then, but Ken doubles and the current sauce are pretty close to a 5

@@TrinbagoVibes i havent had Kens in a while but 20yrs ago he was the best to me. I must try him again sometime. Sauce in Curepe is pretty good. I want to check out Charlie's doubles in Esmeralda Rd, Cunupia. Have you tried Rocky doubles in Bamboo #2? He's good and a guy on Maraj street in Pasea (that's the street next to A1 Auto Supplies). He sells under a red tent about halfway up from Wed to Sun. By 8.30am he sells out though lol.

It is alledged that the dude had 8 wives and each section was for a wife, another is that it was a contractor who ran out of money and the 3rd it was a drug lord who was building it but died before it was completed

The owner of the property was a guy called Bruce, used to live a little further up towards Rio Claro, he's now deceased. He was like a jack of all trades or whatever he could make money in, including construction, logging, sawmilling etc. One minute he was topping in money, other times he used to be crediting lol. The property still remains mortgaged to FCB, and it was mortgaged since before to Worker's Bank. The bank has been trying to sell the property over 15 years, but he was always engaging in some legal manoeuvres to prevent the sale. Don't know what will happen to it now that he's deceased. I'm originally from Rio Claro, and knew him quite well.
