Very cool that the Berwick restaurant hosted the Berwick Ball. The Berwick is owned by the Susi family who are Catholic, but they are not bigoted. I'm happy to see that they extended their hospitality to everyone at a time when LGBT people were forced to live on the margins of society. At the time of this writing, Grandmother and matriarch Maria Susi, now in her late 80s, is still living and makes occasional appearances at the restaurant at lunch time. It remains a wonderful place to the present time.
