I live in Columbus, Ohio and my brother told me a story a while back. He said when he was a kid (mid 1960's), he and some friends rode their bikes up around the Josephinum Pontifical College (active in the anti-slavery movement during slavery) and they went into this real old, abandoned house. The house had a basement and then in the basement there was a flat stone that covered up a hole and went to a smaller basement (a hiding place for runaway slaves).
