Skoda Octavia 3, MY2015 - Columbus retrofit
After installation of Columbus navigation system many settings under Car Settings were disabled. Also rear view camera was not working and there was no navigation display in Maxi DOT. After suitable coding all settings under Car Settings were activated together with settings for factory fitted Webasto system. Also rear view camera was working and navigation display was enabled in Maxi DOT.

Po vgradnji Columbus navigacijskega sistema precej menijev za nastavljanje avtomobila ni bilo aktivnih, ravno tako tudi ni delovala vzvratna kamera in navigacijski prikaz na Maxi DOT zaslonu.
Z dodatnim programiranjem se je vključil prikaz navigacije na Maxi DOT zaslonu in delovanje popolnoma vseh menijev v nastavitvah avtomobila, vključno z delovanjem nastavitev za tovarniško vgrajen Webasto in delovanjem vzvratne kamere.

No, the unit needs to be unlocked and recoded to the car via diagnostic equipment.

Display is only a display. You need to replace the base unit in the glovebox.

Hello! I've replaced the Continental MIB Entry player on my Octavia 3 from 2015 with another one, almost the same model but with CD, SD and BT. The problem is I can't use it since the volume is blocked on mute by some security feature that allows only players that are registered with this car. Can you tell me what should i adapt/code in order for it to work? Thanks!

Question If I bought an amundsen Fascia and the glove box unit would I be able to replace my bolero with it and get Nav, I’m guessing I’d need a GPS aerial for it. How easy are these to get coded to a car that hasn’t had them originally

Tryed fitting the Ariel one into the back of the Columbus but it isn’t fitting is there another connector I need

FAKRA-F will be the correct connector for GPS.

Amundsen Mib 1 has 400×200 resolution, Columbus has 800×400. On Mib 2 the resolution is 800×400 on both, so it works only on Mib 2...
