true as it is , it is a very sad commentary. I tried for @ 13 years to get the congregation to see the mystery. some seamed to see part of it but the noise negating it was too loud. I was fought by school teachers and preachers and told to work out my own salvation. oh they wanted to hear me play guitar and sing their favorite jigs but to hear the gospel of Christ according to the mystery,, absolutely not. Jesus and Paul preached the same thing they said.. broke my heart a lot. I was stricken with transverse myelitis and had to stop going.. i was relieved to stop going. that too is a sad commentary. Bless you brother Dave and we can be very thankful and fearful that we know the true plan of God and are learning more and more of his purpose and also the devils plan of evil and perhaps from time to time show another...

Outstanding overview! I often think that the reason most of Christendom has not grasped the mystery is largely due to spiritual laziness. Many professing Christian’s will attend church services regularly, but rather than endeavoring in personal study with an intent to understand, they’ll instead just memorize a handful of “bumper sticker” verses and go no further. An even moderate study of the NT clearly shows that Paul was given new information from the Lord that was vastly different from the information given during the gospel period. If the consensus view in modern Christendom determined the truth, we’d all be attending Joel Olsteen’s church and praying for a winning lottery ticket!😎

@James Alann I think you have a good point. It is very clear that the vast majority of Christians do not study the scriptures.

I have great respect for the truth of dispensationalism. On the other hand I am thankful that though the gospel and the mystery are integrally linked that one can believe the simplicity of the gospel without being “all in” on the truth of the mystery. Teaching comes after believing. God’s grace abounds!

Case in point: why were there just 120 people that were in Act 1-2.. Where were the thousands of those that had received healing during Christ ministry.Also these verses show us who God enlightens. Psa 25:9 - The meek will he guide in judgment: and the meek will he teach his way. 25:12 - What man is he that feareth the LORD? him shall he teach in the way that he shall choose. Psa 25:14 - The secret of the LORD is with them that fear him; and he will shew them his covenant.

There is hope in that , excluding the younger children, many adults , during the 120 years could have believed and died before the Flood . Possibly still a small number but at least they aren’t in hell.

It's a huge blow to Satan's pride that God humiliated and outsmarted him, it's no wonder that Satan would want to hide the mystery. Romans 11:33-34 KJV O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out! For who hath known the mind of the Lord? or who hath been his counsellor? 1 Corinthians 2:6-8 KJV Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought: but we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory: which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. Colossians 2:15 KJV and having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.

Another question? Now that I rightly divide, I can't talk to any of the old 'believers' or find a church to go to because 99.9% don't teach this or know it. It's like being in a whole different religion that nobody knows. I feel like they are teaching everything wrong so I no longer attend a church. As soon as I start talking about it, they think I'm crazy and therefore won't listen. So what is the purpose of knowing all this information other than just for our own knowledge and a few I've found online that also know it? Either all these churches are going to hell or it isn't all that important. What's your thoughts on this.
@ColumbusBibleChurch6 ай бұрын
@ClintonMichael Those who do not understand the mystery are what Paul calls ignorant brethren. We wouldn't say that all other churches are going to hell as that is not accurate. It is true that there are comparatively few that have come to the knowledge of the truth (1Tim 2:4). It has always been that way. Grace.

@@ColumbusBibleChurch Amen, and thank you for your reply(s), videos and edification of the BOC! Sadly, right division is not taught in majority of churches today and many Christians have no idea of the mysterys revealed to apostle Paul.

Brother David. If one trusts only the grace of Christ, His death, burial, and resurrection for salvation, how much faith, if any, must be put in Paul's mysteries for salvation?
@ColumbusBibleChurch2 жыл бұрын
@David Kunze Zero. Salvation is based on believing the gospel of Christ. One can have no understanding of Paul's mysteries so long as one believes Paul's gospel. Grace.
@BrotherRyan2 жыл бұрын
Coming to the knowledge of the truth is Gods will after you are saved, it is not a requirement for salvation. It can lead you to many different heresies though to not understand the mysteries that Paul was given, in fact I believe no one should be preaching unless they understand the mysteries and the faith that Paul speaks of. But yes salvation is a free gift, and is different than studying further to come to the knowledge of the truth. Grace and peace!

Why would have satan have been ok with the DBR of Jesus knowing it would have forgiven Israel's sins ?

I am not sure I understand. Satan didn't know the mystery. But Satan knew Jesus was supposed to die, even though he knew that was God's plan. What ASPECT of the mystery would cause Satan to not crucify our Lord, had he known?
@ColumbusBibleChurch2 жыл бұрын
@Argotha Satan knew about the Lord's death, burial, and resurrection. Satan also knew that the Lord would save His people, Israel, from their sins. Satan had no idea that the cross would also purchase the redemption of the church of this present age, the body of Christ, which takes the place of Satan and his devils in the heavenlies.
@ArgothaWizardWars2 жыл бұрын
@@ColumbusBibleChurch thank you for always responding to my questions. I really appreciate your ministry. the idea that we replace Satan and his host in heaven makes a LOT of sense... but is there Scriptrue to back it up or is it just inference that we have an eternal home in the heavenlies?
@ColumbusBibleChurch2 жыл бұрын
@Argotha This is one verse that helps. 2Co 5:1 KJV - For we know that if our earthly house of [this] tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.

David, after having just listened to this teaching/message, I am not sure of the "bottom line" and the ultimate point you are trying to make: You mentioned several verses indicating that the number of believers in the mystery was "a residue", "a remnant", a very small number commensurate with Noah and his family being the only ones saved from the flood when 99.99999999% of the population perished. Indeed I often use Matthew 7:14 (Because strait is the gate.....) to let folks know that the number of people who will be saved is very small relative to the population of the world. Would you please clarify the significance of the microcosm of the number of saved believers that truly understand the mystery? Do you mean to say that there is some extra benefit, blessing, or perhaps reward at the JSOC for those who grasp right division and the understanding of the mystery? You did indicate in a previous answer in these comments that salvation is not dependent on right division or understanding the mystery. -You did have me a little worried there Bro.
@ColumbusBibleChurch2 жыл бұрын
@Byron Smith One does not have to understand the mystery to be saved. There are lots of saved people who know nothing of the mystery. Given the fact that Satan hates the mystery and does all that he can to hide it, we should not expect a large percentage of the world to believe the mystery, especially since throughout time, the number of people who believe is always few, a very small remnant, etc. Hope this clarifies.
@byronsmith53142 жыл бұрын
@Columbus Bible Church: I suppose the number of believers who actually care enough about their relationship with the Lord to study the Bible and discover right division is pretty small in the universe of the saved, as you indicated in your message. There may not be a physical blessing, or a reward at the JSOC for rightly dividing. But in studying the Word and deepening your relationship with your Creator, the spiritual rewards are unfathomable. God knows who loves Him.........and who doesn't. John 14:15 “If ye love me, keep my commandments.” 1 John 5:3 “This is the love of God, that we keep his commandments” 1 Corinthians 8:3 “But if any man love God, the same is known of Him.”
Funny, I was watching the apologia church with Jeff durbin, he essentially suggested that all who believe in the rapture are being mislead, and found fault with it saying that people that believe do not have zeal and do not act like zealous christians should. There isn't a day that I don't search for truth. I am not a pastor, and I not rich, but I do share the truth with others... Can you David, support why Jeff is wrong and the rapture is real.
