During this time wasn’t circumcising still being done? Which is obviously a cutting. I do agree that the Lord was speaking figuratively. But I didn’t think of it until you referenced the Lord not violating the law. Is circumcising a separate/apart from the law? Blessings Pastor and Happy New Year ✝️

@jestlv Circumcision was prior to the Old Testament as it was established in Genesis 17, and the OT law was not dedicated until Exodus 24. Grace.
