I am the Antoinette that my Elders were talking about. Because of the graciousness of Ms. Aminah & Mrs. Faith discussing the gift of the dolls that I gave them...I was given my very first solo art exhibit by Pricilla Tyson (Star Art Gallery) who was at this event. I am forever grateful to them both & my Mentor Jean Wright who grew up with Ms. Aminah in Poindexter Village. That evening was the first time that I had ever met them. Periodically I watch this video...to remind me of how good God & the Ancestors have been & are to me & whose shoulders I stand upon!!!

What a treasure. What a moment. How blessed we all are, to have lived while these two women lived.

The ebb and flow of the conversation between the Queen Mothers and comfortably incorporating the audience is magnificent!

half hour?????? Let the legends talk and be grateful for the Wisdom. I love Ringgold and Robinson's work and their answers when asked our sophomoric questions.
