So I used a cheat code. I was playing along, recording, everything going smoothly until around the 8th minute, in which I screwed something up. You'll notice a cut there, 'cause I didn't want to record the whole thing again for a mistake in the last couple of minutes. It turned out to be the right decision, since that last modulating bit took a couple more takes (thank you, bass sensei ‪@neftalilopez‬ for helping me figure it out); I can't imagine what it would've been like if I had to play the whole song each time.
This is probably my most requested song. "Coma" is an intimidating 10-minute piece which closes the first "Use Your Illusion". The difficult bit is to learn all the parts, since it rarely repeats a riff (which makes it a pain to tab it out), but, once you have them all, you're golden -- there are way more difficult GnR songs, in that same album and others.
