Your videos really help with my pstd especially at night, and combing my hair used to be a horrible and painful experience. Watching things like this help me feel okay, and I'd love a combing video, with affirmations like "it's okay, you're okay, you're safe. Ill be gentile while I comb your hair to the left, comb to the right etc.".

this is SO reletable, I struggle with SI disorder and combing my hair has been a nightmare since I can remember because it was insanely painful to me and I remember constantly crying during it as a kid and my parents just yelling at me that im overreacting, calling it a "hysteria" while I was genuinely just suffering :')

@@kyb3rcrystals okay so I think I might have transaleted it diffrenetly because English is not my first language, but in my language it's called something like "sensual integration disorder" and it's basically when your senses are extremely overreactive - for example I get very scared at loud noises or extremely frustrated when I have to touch something with a certain texture. so you can say brushing my hair was just triggering my touch senses and they was overreacting, making it painful for me. it's something that most autistic people or people with down syndrome suffer with too, but recently studies found out it can also happen to someone who is neither. basically oversensitivity to things :)
