I'm a washout 😅 glad I don't miss the suck. 22 started selection, 7 of us went onto our next school, 2 went operational. The real studs are the dudes who can put it all together and keep going. Jack of all trades for sure. Was fun and learned a lot.

Yeah these guys are seriously under rated. Kinda obscure like the green berets first then the navy seals. Eventually air force pj's and combat control will come into the spotlight and we will see all kinds of movies about them. There are even special forces weather men believe it or not...

I knew one guy that quit because he didnt want to train for 2 years and wanted to start working. So he went Security Forces.

@trust_me_your_not_that_guy_pal SF in Air Force means Security Forces or basically base police and fightlinr security. Combat Controllers get the most combat. SERE and PJs are different. SR or Special Recconassiance used to be Combat Weatherman

Extremely demanding physical fitness and really really advanced and specialized skills like ATC, Air Field Assessment, some ABM, JTAC, Medical, Mountaineering, etc. You're asking for an extremely fit, resilient individual that also has the smarts to get through extremely advanced technical training. Not a lot of the qualified population is willing or able to go through that.

@@Kometheus No theyre vastly different from PJs, their mission is different, their pipeline is different. Theres only a few things that overlap between PJ and CCT.
