Palm strikes as ground and pound forces it back to its roots: the bottom game of guard pulling shouldn’t be the first choice. I’m glad BJJ has a competitive division that still relative to both MMA and self defense.

I've been looking online and I don't see any options to do CJJ matches outside of Eddie's big events. That's a shame because I think it is such a good idea. Even Joe Blow competitors who usually only do local tournaments could benefit a lot from training for and competing in a CJJ event once or twice a year.

The madness prevailing in the world of MMA now knows no boundaries: the latest (crazy?) novelty is the "slap Grappling" or "Bjj slap" born from the minds (minds? Let's talk about it...) of the lovers of MMA disciplines. I have no doubt that this discipline (discipline?) will also become official and praised by people who love MMA. At this point I also propose the "biting the opponent's body" variant...what do you think???

@masterh9795 it's still a watered down form of MMA. It gives JJ guys a taste of what MMA might be like, in case they were thinking about crossing over into that sport. I don't know if there are professional ranks in this newer sport, and I don't think competing in this newer sport is the best way for any JJ player to transition into it (there are better ways to transition into MMA), but clearly this is one step toward competing in MMA.
