I was at danang in amtrcs i 65 66 and was in the mine clearing amtracs your story about the palet of explosives blowing up is scary in that we routinely fired these off. Semper fi marine

My Dad was a CW3 in Saigon. Was shot down 3 times n recovered. He was to go in and pick troops up n get out! 😢❤ I wish he was still here… he went bk into flying in the 80’s n the bolt came out of the rotor blade, cut the helicopter up in Bucks county, PA. I was just 8 years old.

Ya had some bad days hopefully god gave up some good days since you been home. Society wasn't as nice to you guys as ww2 guys. But that wasn't my family my uncles and cousins were fighting in Vietnam we love them like you to this day. Welcome home semper fi.
