Combat Mission Battle For Normandy (CMBN) -- Horrible Spotting Issue

Spotting "anomalies" were one of the biggest reasons I quit playing CM for a few years. But this is the most egregious example I've ever seen.
Weather is clear but overcast. Smoke is turned on. There's no haze or fog.
The King Tiger's engine is running. The team with the bazooka and satchels has normal ( +0 ) Leadership, Experience, Motivation, and Fitness. They are not suppressed, and are "Ready" and "OK"....
They are a Mortar Leadership team that had to be repurposed late in the battle to help take down a stubborn tank, that's true, but who would miss seeing and/or hearing a King Tiger that's literally only 2 meters away?!

Perhaps they knew that were no King Tigers in the American sector in Normandy.

So the "horribile spotting issue" you talk about in your last couple videos are only with the harder difficulties. I played on veteran and had the same problem. But playjng on" basic training difficulty" spotting feels more realastic and consistent.
