The last German with the machine gun, of course in movies he doesn’t hit anyone or thing? Yeah right!

I don't think they had doubles for these guys; Kirby and the rest of them really seemed agile and spry, the way they moved. As kids, we pretended to be these guys; lots of fun, back in the day!

@@jameshoran8 From the dry conditions in any forested area as part of the film work, it appears that much, if fnot all of it was filmed in California! What do you think?
@williamhiers53488 жыл бұрын
Of course they're going to stay. Of course they're setting up an OP. They always do. Right there. They never move on. Right where the heroes are is always, always, always where the Germans decide to stop. Like clockwork. I love this show but I can usually tell exactly what'll happen.
@myfriendbro5 жыл бұрын
Of all the places where do you think gerry will drop a truck load of soldiers and set up an OP? why ofciurse right infront of our heroes and who if any is omni present besides God? why this one German Sergeant present with all gerry units boy you have to be blind and deaf not to notice Kirby go past by but Combat is great nonetheless

This episode seems to have been actually filmed in France because there were great old castle and great bridge . How could they build such things as set ?
@jameshoran82 жыл бұрын
Between the third and fourth season, they took a film crew to the Loire Valley in France with the principal stars did not go due to the fact that the producers did not want to pay them. Hence The long shots with stand ins.
@Schtuperfly2 жыл бұрын
@@jameshoran8 I was wondering that too. No wonder the medium shots looked the same MGM backlot they shot up 100 times.

These are good high resolution episodes, but I don't like cutting the end credits. I like to watch an episode till the SELMAR Productions logo ends it.

Why didn’t they just go the unit where they were supposed to tie in and ask if they had a spare DR-8 with enough WD-1 wire to tie in to where they finished with their last reel? Too logical I guess.

Jack did not have the biggest ego in TV history. You're believing the tabloids and jealous co-stars? Jack was a co-producer and co-owner on Hawaii Five-O, so he had every right to be involved in the production process, which naturally led to disagreements with the directors, producers, and other crew. He wanted people to work for their money, not be lazy and have it handed to them. Many of those crewmembers and actors didn't realize until later that Jack was getting them to be harder workers.
@jeang31306 жыл бұрын
sapphiretaurus how I agree with you. Throughout his career Jack was criticised and ridiculed, just because he was a perfectionist. The press couldn't find ant scandal about him in his private life, so invented stories about his acting life. He proved his character and worth my leaving 40millions dollars to charity, and having a marriage that lasted 49 years, very few actors can say that. He was and always will be my hero.

I wonder what Vic was like in personal life????
@bettysamson49253 ай бұрын
You might see another person. His family life was a disaster. Couldn’t keep it together. Combat consumed him and costed his personal life. Maybe that’s why he demanded such an exorbitant pay cut. But that set the Suits against him. He was such a genius in front and behind the camera. But he remained underrated for the rest of his career?? There was a force which ganged up against him.
