Changing the tailgate and sliding door seals on my T4 made the biggest difference to road noise after panel deadening the van and lining the load area floor. If only I'd thought about metal fatigue when cutting the rubbers 🤣

@@Ikigaifishing I just changed the 20+ year old door seals for new door seals just like Leigh did on the 2kT5 in this video. The process was exactly the same. I've a Kombi so there's no bulkhead between the cab and the rear - the difference it made to the road noise was significant.

You replacing the sliding door seal? Have you found a cheaper one for the sliding door L shaped seal yet? Seems to be around £200 genuine part only.

Hi been watching your vid on replacement of rubbers to doors.. I've replaced both my rubbers on my barn doors. Including single rubber on right hand barn door.. it nw leaking worse than before please help.. do you have a video of you fitting single barn door rubber pls.. Regards Dave

Are the doors adjusted correctly? If not, maybe take it to a trusted bodyshop to check the alignment

Could you add the 3M seal to the sliding doors as well?

My side door has a knocking noise when I drive which drives me batty, might be worth changing the seal

It stopped my knocks and squeals! Last job is to replace the middle and bottom roller, but it’s been out of stock

It’s very old and worn, and the actual roller is missing from the bottom roller making it very difficult to close, and means the for isn’t 100%fit so will love slightly, although the new seal stopped that immediately
