Koreans truly are the mad scientist of the culinary world. I'm personally not like a big foody guy, but I am a pretty regular international traveler. Korea is the one place I've been that has the largest mixture of different food cultures and flavors in one place. Again I'm not a foody, but it was mind blowing to me all of the different foods and creations, like this pizza waffle. So, if you are a food traveler you have to go to Korea.

@@gianpaolouccelletti750 it doesn't take much of a palate to imagine what a waffle pizza would taste like. unless of course, you've never had fresh waffles out of a waffle maker or never had pizza before. but in this case, i imagine it would be very difficult to mess up these flavor combinations. there is a very famous korean pastry called "pizza bbang" which literally translates to "pizza bread". it is pizza toppings but usually with sliced sausages and they are baked atop of a nice soft semi-sweet roll.

This is actually genius. A large waffle is perfect personal pizza serving size, it has many deep pockets for sauce and cheese, the dough possibilities are many, there can even be a cheesy garlic bread option. The sauce should be thick and a little chunky and the toppings should be smaller in size. I gotta find me a good batter recipe.

Right? Just because the cheese is gooey, doesn't mean its a quality little pizza. American joints make this a million times better. I'm not even sure wth that yellow pateé is that they squeezed into each orifice.

@@llBanell that's a sweet potato paste to add the Korean traditional flavor to it, they say it was good 😊 BTW this is just a basic waffle with a pizza like topping.

Wow! Genius! I'm going to make this for sure. Instead of sweet potato I'll use butter, add my ingredients, set oven at 450, checking often for the cheese to melt. Can even make in advance, garnish then bake. I'm making this asap! Thank you!
