One way to look a it. Combinations: Each column in a spreadsheet represents different subsets of the universal set. Permutations: Permutations: Rows from top to bottom under each column or subset represent the arrangements of each subset or each column.

C(4,2). C(5,2) are similar to getting total Number of paths or events by going through the process of multiplying the two pathways? Please verify the understanding or visualization.

Very useful. However, it's strange that he's using that bizarre and clumsy calculator (I guess it's supposed to emulate a physical one, with all its clumsiness). The number of steps you have to take to calculate a simple factorial is insane. It's so much easier on other software calculators.
