Kudos to Steve from K and J for taking you around the scrap yard. As they say. One man’s trash is another’s treasure. If you farm with older equipment then theses yards are invaluable. I remember taking my wife to the scrap yard for the first time and she had always thought they were eye sores and didn’t understand the need. Now 36 years later, she’s always asked if I checked at the scrap yard first before buying anything new 😂😂

A neighbor off mine went for years every day to the scrapyard he collected a lot of farmequipment and other antiques. He asked my dad last year to sell some off his collection. The children say dad if you pass away we will get a dumpster for the scrapyard. My dad sold what he picked up and made around 30k all of it went back to the neighbor

Ther should be a greasable bearing under the seat on the back of the engaging counter shaft hard to get to. I only found out about it after the bearing burnt up

If you looking into growing some beans your planter is already 30in look into a row crop head we run 2 653A and they are great heads they made them in 6, 8 and 12 rows

Just for future reference. You could leave that bracket in on piece. You just have to remove one the under seat braces (green vertical braces) That will make your life a lot easier.
