I have not seen cone sleeves before, that is cool, when I worked at the local case dealer we hard surfaced cones with a mig welder, if they weren’t worn too thin. usually have to do that on the new 50 series combines with only 500hr…not good….considering my 2008 8010 just got a hard surface after 2400 separating hrs. Also when we redid the chopper shafts we took an old Hyd oil filter, cut it, and welded it short so it’s out of the way otherwise it dumps a ton of oil when you pull that filter off. older models you could just tip the filter upwards to make space. Great video good job guys.
