Always a good day when you find a new update! Thank you Doug! I think it is a good idea to split the episodes, love the detail and wouldn´t want you to start skipping over that.

That's odd. Glad you found it anyway! And hopefully you won't have to wait as long for the next episode. Thanks for continuing to watch.

Yes my favorite series is back! Good idea to split them, especially if that helps you edit and upload them more easily. Hope you're not still constantly facing building noise, I've been there and it's horrible

If I read this correctly, Italy playing IPO 3 to break its own alliance should have resulted in applying the war chart (and -1 to other allies) as written in the "modifiers" section? Also, why have you only applied the -3 to Hungary and not the influence on the other countries listed in the treaty chart (e.g. Bulgaria, Greece, Rumania...) Thanks for your work, really enjoying it

We tried to set this up with the guide you mentioned on BGG but got stuck with Japan set up - it asks you to place 4 Inf, 1 Mar and 2 Gar, but in 1936 Japan only has 3 Inf, 1 Gar and no Mar (only Mar is a RES unit - imp guard). How did you get around this?

So are you coming back?
@thetabletopsedge3 ай бұрын
Yes, indeed! I'm actually editing the next episode as I write this. My goal is to have it uploaded no later than the end of the week. The issues affecting my ability to film appear to be ending. I've had the next episode filmed for nearly a month now, but I then encountered a problem with the editing software I had been using for the past few years. I tried different software, and wasted a lot of time trying to learn how to use it, only to have completely edited the 2 hour episode and run into a fatal error when trying to export it. So I've reverted back to my original software, and things appear to be working. Keep your fingers crossed that nothing else crops up, and I should have the next episode uploaded in a few days. I anticipate being able to get back to a more regular schedule of releases from here on out. Certainly not the massive gaps between new episodes that have been the case for most of the past year. Stay tuned!

As for France's economy - not only do they need to pay for bringing Belgium in, after that they also need to pay to kick Poland out ASAP, so UK can add her to the war and actually open up that second front? So there will be a lot of bidding for and and playing options in France's near future? (Or will UK have to be the one to try to coax the Poles out of their unfortunate alliance with France? Because I got the impression from what you were saying that they had one.)
@thetabletopsedge7 ай бұрын
Yes, things aren't looking terribly good for France over the next few turns from an economic perspective. They have some (expensive) political options to pay for (but the CW may eat the cost for the political option to try to break Germany's alliance with Poland). Because France has a Level 3 Treaty with CW, there are some options for CW help with regards to paying for some political options. While DoWing Germany was probably the right thing to do, and bringing Belgium into the war before Germany could launch a surprise attack on it was also a net benefit, there is a cost to France's war production. Hopefully, the bad winter weather (and a cold, wet Spring would be nice) can slow down the Germans enough to allow France to get her production back up to speed. We shall see...
