I just combed out mines. I had over 100. It took about 10-11 days. I did a few a day otherwise I’d get frustrated and rip my hair out! Use lots of water and conditioner it’s so much easy with them. Just pace yourself-set goals each day of how many locs you want to comb out.

I have similar hair texture, and starting semi freeforming 3 months ago, I would like to ask you about the gel, I have the yellow top mango and lime gel, because the order was wrong, and can't be returned...should I buy the black top one? for difficult to lock hair? Do you roughly know how many you have? I have a similar texture to you and im a little worried about them getting heavy as they get longer. Thats a while away for me tho lol!

About 120 I believe and yesss they will def be heavy as they get longer lol.

Use lots of water and conditioner. Dry combing will cause breakage.
